Dearborn/ Detroit
The area was first settled by Europeans in 1791, while the village of Dearborn was established in 1836. Named after patriot Henry Dearborn, a general in the American Revolution and Secretary of War under President Thomas Jefferson. The city is hometown to Henry Ford, and is currently the world headquarters to the Ford Motor Company as well as home to the University of Michigan campus.
Indianapolis
